MATHERS Confirmed as a SCAM
The company put out news Monday morning boating a research report that had been done by someone with the name Nigel Perkins from Mathers Research.

Here’s where it gets interesting. Mathers Research appears to be nothing more than a stock promotion site. You HAVE to sign up to their newsletter in order to get this purported “report” on SRGE, which by the way gives SRGE a target price of 0.20 per share according to the press release the company released, yet when we signed up, no report was sent our way. To take it a step further in an effort to get to the bottom of SRGE’s unusual volume on Monday, the head office for this purported Research Firm is supposably in Switzerland. On top of that, if you review the disclaimer found on the Mathers Research website, you’ll note they blatantly tell you, “ Neither MathersResearch.com, nor its employees and affiliates are registered as investment advisors or broker/dealers in any jurisdiction whatsoever.”, yet they are dishing out target prices on Southridge Enterprises (PINK:SRGE), and who knows what else!

One final look at the Mathers website indicates a “Disclosure” page wherein you’d expect to see that they were most likely compensated for the report, that we can’t find, on SRGE. Instead, that page returns a 404 error, Not Found. If they were indeed compensated for anything to do with SRGE as we suspect they were, then it’s pretty hard to call this report, if it exists outside of the Press Release from the company, “Independent Research” as this Mathers Research clearly states they are on the banner for their website where it says, “Leading International Investment Independent Research Firm”.

Long story short, they’re not registered, and have most likely been compensated for whatever it is that they did, hardly a viable source to get investment advice from on an extremely volatile penny stock.

This all appears to be part of a poorly planned out scam to give off the appearance of a legitimate firm doing independent research on “the next big play”, when in reality, it has the making of a classic pump and dump.
