NOTICE OF INTENT:
Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Installation Contract Office - Fort Lee, Virginia, intends to award, on a sole source basis, in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c) (1) and FAR 6.302-1, a Small Business contract to Wave Systems Corporation, 480 Pleasant Street, Lee, MA 01238, for services to provide engineering support to PM FBCB2-BFT missions to maintain, upgrade and enhance the quality of the FBCB2 system performance. Wave Systems Corporation has the engineering expertise, a Certification of Networthiness, and is the sole owner with proprietary rights to the Wave Management Software needed to access the encrypted hard drives.
THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. If you know your firm possesses the ability to provide this service, you may respond by demonstrating your firm's technical capability to meet the requirement.
