Monster Silk is "in lab production" and the population is being ramped up to commercial production levels. (apparently there was a problem which I have discussed along with the solution). So it's a few months late. No big deal. This kind of thing is more the rule than the exception in biotechnology.

KBLB is NOT "a long way from pure (no WSP) spider silk. As I discussed in great detail, it could well have resulted from round 2 of the ZF GMs the results of which should be available just about now. (and you did not comment on that in any way whatsoever).

More staff could be hired and lab space moved into in very short order. "A long way" is just wishful thinking on your part, IMHO, as is all the rest of your post.
