SL, thanks for the correction regarding
"is part of" which will require some modification to the object-oriented way I try to understand most things.
Regarding management, well, yes, one cannot say e.g. that management is responsible for the things they don't like, and not give them credit for the things they do like. Similarly, if any of this pans out, then at least notions of "competence" would be largely answered (as the task is/has been, indeed, rather ambitious). And here I thought I've backed off on management's "skills" and am just staying a little grumpy about accountability and ethics. Perhaps I'm just holding a grudge. I'm figuring with enough Old Bay seasoning, crow might not seem that bad.
