There are probably 100 reasons an auditor would resign and not all of them are bad. Like I said it could simply be a result of not comming to terms on fees or payment terms. But it certainly couldn't have anything to do with a mistake on the payroll taxes not being paid by the auditors or even a miscalculation by them becasue it is not the auditors responsibility to pay or prepare those returns.
