Post 3. I found the collection of replies to my post very interesting and in some cases amusing. Investing should not be so emotional an endeavor that when faced with information that you feel is contrary to your opinion, you attack the person making the statements instead of seeking to simply refute what they've said.

In any case, I want to touch on a few comments and clarify certain apparent misunderstandings, address certain accusations and then point you to a number of new announcements that might come as a surprise to more than a few members of CLYW’s board here at iHub.

First, it is patently ridiculous that I would waste my time impersonating anyone else on this board or that I am really a regular contributor to this board who has carefully spent months crafting an alternate identity complete with an employment history, months of blog posts, years or results on Google, photos, etc.

If my goal in doing this was to have a dramatic impact upon share prices, I can promise you my post would not have been so neutral. Which, incidentally, for those of you who didn’t like what I had to say and thus decreed me a…what was the word you used? Basher? My post was clearly neutral. I stated what I believe to be the potentially valuable assets that could support a long term success for CLYW as well as prevailing technology developments that could have a negative impact upon prospects and present value. I don’t see how anyone can say that I drew a strong conclusion either way; I did not.

Further, for the individual that contends that I failed to address the issue most crucial for establish a unique value proposition for Calypso, that of the seamless hand-off; I did address this: more than once in fact. Perhaps because I did not spell it out in the simplest of terms you didn’t read it carefully, but in the conclusion of my post I mentioned that there is now a hardware-free solution for fast handoffs (read “seamless switching”) between multiple WiFi AP’s.

In the event that you were too angry with what I had said to read the contents that came up when clicking the link I included here they are, unedited, for your edification:

Make VoIP Calls on Your Symbian Nokia Phone
SCN LTD, a leading creator of VoIP Wireless LAN technology, today launched Truphone, the world’s first fully converged solution - allowing people to make VoIP calls on the Series 60 Platform. Developed by Nokia, Series 60 is the world’s leading smartphone platform, with millions of devices already in the market. Truphone allows you to carry only one phone for both fixed and mobile use - seamlessly roaming between Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G - connecting via SIP to the public phone system. The Series 60 smartphone architecture provides users with all the basic and advanced cellular phone functions in a compact device characterized by a large color screen, rich communications and enhanced applications.

As you can see, I addressed both homogenous and heterogenous network hand-offs, what’s more I referenced a product that appears to be software driven, (given that the phone includes a radio for WiFi as well as GSM/CDMA or another, like technology) which is something that would be attractive to phone manufacturers.

Beyond this, my criticism of Calypso’s management is based upon your own communications including the complaints of many members of this board, the press releases that they seem to churn out when investor confidence is low but which seem to be nearly identical year over year with no concrete evidence that they have actually launched a solution, and the fact that people can’t seem to get a straight answer about a half a dozen issues from a company that so many of you seem to care about so sincerely.

I am not here to cause anyone pain. My intention was entirely the opposite. I have a certain amount of expertise in this arena, and I know many of the technologies about which we are speaking intimately. I chose to unveil myself to the entire board, including employer and full name to support the fact that my disclosure was not motivated by any ulterior motive and I will state again, emphatically and for the record that what I say is based upon fact, but is still my own opinion as drawn from those facts.

If this is something that upsets some of you so much that you would attack me, call me names, suggest that I was impersonating another individual, particularly when, to my knowledge, I am the only person on this board to publicly disclose my identity, I would make one small suggestion: stop investing in the market. You are too emotional, and as a result incapable of making the kind of logic-driven, factually supported decisions that successful investors make day in and day out.

Lastly, there are a number of links included below. You might wish to examine the web pages to which they connect. More analysis is provided on my blogs…”the Jokers blogs” (missing the possessive apostrophe) as one member stated…you can read them or not as you wish. Again, they contain nothing more than my own, unbiased opinion.

Please note that UMA does stand for Unlicensed Mobile Access; this is Kineto’s solution and one adopted by Motorola, Nokia and other industry giants and for those of you that are not clear, GSM and GPRS features over WLAN means that they’re routing the cellular signal over a wireless (or WiFi) Lan. Also, note the relative frequency with which these articles address seamless network switching.
