Question for the board, why does this Keystone pipeline need to go to Texas? Why couldn't Canada's oil be refined in a northern U.S. state like New Hampshire? Just to complete the circle, they could use biofuel (oil soaked MOP, after MOP is used to clean up oil spills from water and soil...!) to power the refinery.

I simply don't know, so I'm asking, why couldn't northern US states take advantage of this and bring jobs and oil into the US?


Just reading the news, thinking, and I don't have much time during the day to research a lot of issues, so just wondering what you all may know, think, etc.
