Great write up. So true. Problem is the patents aren't very compelling in their current form. There are way too many similar companies with products identical to MOP's, but a slightly different approach...and they too, don't have sales. The culture of the EPA has to change, and until it does, this company and companies with products like it, will remain stagnant.

I'm sure Wayne and Charles knew this, thus the defeatist attitude. I know people probably don't want to hear this, but it is what I believe to be the truth now. It is just cellulose fiber with generic microbes and a green coloring added. That is it. That said, it does work, but the marketing (or lack thereof) surely doesn't help.

I mean think of the late night TV hit "the snuggie"..essentially a big blanket with holes and sleeves to put your arms through. With the proper approach and marketing it took off way better than anyone really expected. Same thing could have happened here if these guys had had any sort of drive, networking ability (beyond ex-felons), and passion.
