Hi Ellery.
Unfortunatey '3d chips' in that context has nothing to do with 3d volumetric display technology.

'3d chip'refers to a microchip with multiple layers of circuits stacked vertically one on top of the other, unlike most 2d chips today, which are just one single layer thick.


I don't see IBM, Intel etc taking an interest in TDCP unless its for some tiny subsection of their market dealing with volumetric visualization.
