Even though the court ruling previously that a positive action must be taken to show your preference, it seems that leaving the 'opt out' box blank counts as an 'action' in the legal sense, and therefore is OK as a method of showing that you assent to ( or 'opt IN' to) granting releases. However, not returning a ballot at all IS NOT THE SAME as returning a blank ballot (with the 'opt out' box blank)! The court has decided that assuming the granting of releases by default is not allowed, so a ballot paper MUST be returned for you, or you will NOT have identified your preference.
So make sure your RETURN A BALLOT, whether or not you tick the box.

Hope i'm correct, so AIMHO, but I have been seeking advice on this.
