Sami, found this also while doing a search as I can't help but think that when we started out with C3ISR capabilities, we've suddenly grown into C5ISR. Now we can only assume that was most likely by request from those government agencies that we've been dealing with. Good reading if anyone is so inclined...

Interesting in that, the latest info is dated from 2008, so it makes one wonder what could be going on behind the scenes to bring this to the forefront? Navy, Marines, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), DOD are all involved in this link.
