Note RF Micro Devices (RFMD) said sales of 2G components to China-based customers for entry-level handsets were below expectations and that end-of-quarter 2G demand was significantly below customer forecasts. Spreadtrum (SPRD) is a fabless semiconductor provider in China with technology in 2G and 3G wireless communications standards
