Many brokers use NITE so it may not have been the same seller this morning. No conspiracy, just a trader making a market for their shares. You bet a trader will start tossing shares on the bid, perhaps even to himself knocking support down to get others to sell whilst he sits on the bid. Then as folks saw earlier today, he started pushing the bid while sitting on the ask.
Surely, you seen this tactic yourself...if not having done it yourself.
Standard OP on p & d plays (not saying RTGV is), start pushing the bid & tickling the ask....repeat.
