If you are trying to time investments in IDCC, please look at HRS for guidance. If IDCC goes to trial and wins, the stock will appreciate at a slower rate than many believe. Institutions are well aware of the power of federal judges and they will not get excited until the judge signs a judgment. Harris is getting close to 90 days post verdict and the judge has not ruled on the post trial motions yet. The stock will move on a jury verdict, but the greater movement will occur on judgment day. In the case of IDCC, October would be a safer play for options way out of the money. I do not play the options game, but I do know that many of you are and I offer this post FWIW. Ask any lawyer that you know and they will tell you that you have nothing in federal court until the final judgment is signed.
