SYSCO corporate in Houston should be receiving the samples for taste testing this week and decide if they are going to bring the salmon in. Hopefully we will hear on this board within approx. a week of their decision. That will be a significant step forward if that is the case and I certainly hope it is! Does anyone know the answer to these questions: If they pick us up, while it takes 3 months to set up process protocol and the other SYSCO reps from IOWA are distributing samples to the 5 surrounding states to grow distribution, where is the 500K coming from to use for those 3 months to build up the inventory to allow us to reach full current oven capacity goal prior to the preferred share sales that are earmarked for retail distribution? Do we already have it available/ready or will that hold us back from being able to reach full capacity at this time if it should happen that corporate says yes and 2 of the 5 pick up the line in the IOWA region? Also, how many lbs. are in the cases that SYSCO IOWA currently buys from us? I thought I read somewhere 30 lb boxes but that can't be right because if 7000 / 80 cases (87.50 per case) that would be that would be 2.91/lb. so I am thinking I am off on that. Does anyone remember? I have not had time to be around board much so trying to catch up on where we are at as of today. Two last questions: Do we already have a deal with SYSCO Canada? Using SYSCO for distribution of the partially cooked lines, is that dependant on the acceptance of corporate in Houston for distribution to those 1000's of potential customers referenced?
