mschere...IMO you just need to make sure you get paid for it to do you any good. I have been thoroughly convinced that we have had the patents, had the licensing, and had the R&D to make this a very valuable company but you have to be able to COLLECT. All the standards committees, all the involvement in conferences, all the CONTRACTS don't do squat if you don't get PAID in the end. Heck even BINDING arbitration requested by a licensee now may not be enforceable. This is getting to be just like professional sports, where contracts aren't honored...
