On-Track's Duagh plant is situated on 104 acres (zoned industrial) with over a mile and a half of rail lines, turnarounds, sidings, and other rail facilities.

There now exist an estimated one year plus worth of ties on site. With over 7,900 rail route-kilometers (4,900 miles) of railway track in Alberta alone each kilometer and mile represents an enormous amount of feedstock. Each kilometer of track has over 1800 rail ties (3000 per mile). Over 90% of all ties are wood, with a weight of 90 kilograms (200 pounds) per tie, and a useable life of approximately 20 to 25 years per tie.
