The statement to which you were referring.

Yes, we will be in a quiet period again but for only two or three days. From the company.

Your reply:

Another lie "from the company". Rocket, Buy_low, I wonder what your thoughts are about being lied to by Ray about this.

Your rebuttal:

I find it odd that you completely ignore that fact that *someone* lied about the length of the quiet period and instead you attack me by again trying to catch me in a contradiction.

Once again, someone posted false information attributed to the company. As I have always done, I questioned the information posted, and pointed out that it was indeed false. There is no contradiction

You went from *Ray lied* to *someone lied* to try and justify your statement, but the former is what you actually posted. You don't know if anyone lied, or if someone misunderstood or what. My complaint is that you said that Ray lied when you don't know. This is not support for Ray and whether or not he tells the truth, so don't go there. I was simply trying to get you to see that it is inappropriate to make such strong statements without KNOWING what the facts were. I also stated that I had spoken to Ray on a number of occasions, and while he thought that the time *should* be short, I never heard anything close to the 2 or 3 day period. He may have said it would be nice if it were that short but never stated it would. He also conceded that it could take much longer.

IF, you would have said "if Ray said that, he lied, or at best was irresponsibly optimistic", I would have no quarrel with your statement.

Spoke: It really isn't that hard to admit you make a mistake once in a while.
