I don't see anybody mining existing landfills in the near future.......perhaps down the road....my local landfill used earth and mulch to bury the waste on a daily basis......That's not to say that someday somebody may mine old landfills for what they can recover.......would be quite a job.....it would be based on what kind of revenues they could generate from it.......maybe when oil is $2-300/barrel........

There's thousands of tons of plastic being disposed of every day that would be easier to process...........z
