Some advice for you. If you are this uncomfortable with your investment, sell it. Put your money into something you are sure of. What is a scam?? What did this company do that can be classified as a scam?? I know that some private investors did pump this company. It happens.
This is a development stage company. (These company's get pumped.) However, this company also has assets. It has wells actually pumping oil. It has actual income from such activities. If I were you, I would write down a list of questions and concerns, call out to the company and address them with Kelly and Lindsey. Listen to their answers, if you like them hold, if you don't, sell. It is that simple.
I love development stage company's (that have assets in a proven play) that have been pumped and dumped into the trash can.
That is how you buy value. Investing has to be done with logic, cold hard facts and numbers, not emotion and not by asking opinions of others who are just as emotional and may even know less than you do. I evaluate the people, the play and the downside risk. Have a risk management plan. I hope this helps you.
