GET REAL, PEOPLE. Stop kidding yourselves.
Over the last year this company has sold itself to the public (with help from various share touts) on the basis of just one drug - Libigel, a cheap, safe medication needing no expensive research or development costs. Potentially it could have been very, very lucrative as its target patients would be willing to pay a huge premium for the treatment because it would improve their sex-life, and on this basis Biosante shares climbed impressively. There is absolutely nothing wrong with selling (and profiting from) a product to improve ones sex-life but such a scenario only works if the product can be shown to work. Unfortunately, Libigel has been shown to work no better than placebo so that any improvement in the individual's sex-life was simply due to the fact that they were receiving some sort of treatment, either real or placebo, not because their testosterone level rose (those on placebo had no rise in testosterone levels but experienced just about the same improvement).
It is no wonder that investors (me included) are bailing out all over the place as the hoped-for quick, large profit has just evaporated. Certainly hang onto the shares in the hope of some recovery but be realistic - they are not going to return to anywhere near their recent levels. The other drugs in their pipeline are years away from being marketed even if they are shown to be effective.
At the present time, the hope of Biosante producing profits is just a speck on the horizon and unless the company is seen as being ripe for a takeover (which I doubt) it is only profits, actual or anticipated, that will drive the SP upwards.
