Actually, if we indeed will not be trading for an extended period of time that the DS seems to suggest, it may very well give those who want to cash out for a higher return sooner,an opportunity to do so to some extent, rather than waiting for the NewCo to develop.

In essence, this will basically create a forced buyin for those wo see the long term value of the NewCo. As the cutoff date approaches, those who believe in the long term potential value will either have to purchase then, or wait for the company to emerge back into trading status down the road. Obviously, if you believe in the long term value, you would have to believe that the price down the oad will be far higher than it stands today and those who have reserve capital that they can afford to not touch for the next 12-24 months will be willing to pay above morket today to have a position on the other end.

While this in no way would be anything akin to a short run, it could very well give a 25%-40% boost above what the current value is determined to be as we approach closure on the BK an the DS becomes efective.
