When Zecco stopped allowing trades in HNSS, I opened a TDAmeritrade account and had my Zecco account transferred. Zecco charged $50 to do the transfer. Then, TDAmeritrade stopped trading for HNSS, so I opened a Fidelity account and had TDAmeritrade transfer my holdings to Fidelity. TD charged me $75 for that transfer. At first everything seemed okay, but about two weeks after opening my Fidelity account, my HNSS shares disappeared from my account. I called Fidelity and was told that I had to contact TDAmeritrade because they had reclaimed them because they had transferred them in error. I contacted TDAmeritrade and they said that they never had my shares, even though they had shown in my account. To make a long story short, Penson never transferred any of my HNSS shares until they were called several times by tdmeritrade to locate the "missing" shares. When Penson located them they put them back into my Zecco account. So, I'm now back to were I was over two months ago. I have to give TDAmeritrade credit for helping me sort this out and they say that my shares should be transferred to Fidelity with no further charges. It should take at least ten days. I'll post back with an update in a couple of weeks.
