It would not have been confirmed, even without the IT allegations.

JMW used the IT allegations as an excuse to deny the plan, and the IT allegations overshadowed the other plan deficiencies.

The plan would have been denied based soley on SG's efforts, IMO.

Did SG have anything to do with Thoma's objection? I don't know, and I don't really want to know.
