Customer base may not as big as facebook, but the growth trend should be similar to facebook, and it will take a few years to grow globally. Every thing is offered to school for free, at $0 cost, so it will grow fast. If you pay to have a facebook account, then you may not be willing to have a facebook account no matter how cheap it is. $0 cost will make it a mega company soon.
