hnstabe, you could be right!

My main points are:

1. Intel is bundling ETS and it's shipped with the MB as a CD, while STM bundles a Wave initialization/settings management utility.

2. And STM ends up pre-installed on Dell PCs by Dell. Wave is on the "load image"...a big step for Wave to be loaded on Dell PCs!

You could be right that the STM software supply chain goes through the motherboard vendor, even for Dell.
