But there should have been way more downloads attributable to the quarter from past PR releases. I'm as well a bit confused about the download figures. The app revenue performance is not clear to me.

It says:

Total Downloads all time (till 10/31): 9.7m
Total downloads for Q: 1.97m

the quarter before this reported Q had seen 2 million "free" downloads (plus x number paid) downloads.

In order for these numbers to balance, the previous Quarter (before this reported one) must have had 9.7m - 1.97 - 2m = 5.73m paid apps which hardly translates into the known $192k revenues.

So, the vast majority of these 5.73m downloads should be attributable to the reported Q instead.
