Will history repeat itself?? It seems ERICY is working off the same play book:

SAN DIEGO -- March 2, 1999 -- QUALCOMM Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM) today announced that the trial in the lawsuit between QUALCOMM and Telfonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas will be postponed. On February 26, 1999, the trial judge indicated that the trial will be postponed from the present trial date of April 6, 1999 until early June of 1999. The Company expects the court to issue an order this week setting forth the revised schedule.

NEW YORK -- March 25, 1999 -- ERICSSON (Nasdaq: ERICY) and QUALCOMM (Nasdaq: QCOM) today announced that they have entered into a series of definitive agreements that resolve all disputes globally between the companies relating to Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) technology.

HMMMMM -- sound familiar, a court date is announced as postponed for about 60 days and the settlement occurs prior to the date the trial was originally scheduled.
