AMD's suit has more to do with PR outside the court
than action within it.

Japanese FTC didn't seem to think so !
European FTC didn't seem to think so !
US FTC action must be almost imminent IMO!


The longer this goes on the more the general business and public audience loses interest (presuming they were even aware of it or cares).

WRONG! The longer, the better for AMD !
Most people I know in the IT branch are disgusted and feel "duped".
There's talk about AMD's claim every day here in the German IT community.
Even German Radio ( WDR2 ) mentioned and discussed the case a few times !
