One reason might be: Women might not be as risky and protect their profits instinctually (going back to biological roots to provide for kids) while men are going to risk much more in order to "beat others" just like in Neanderthal times.

Today for example i could've sold my SPY Puts for almost 100% and yet i thought i'd get more out of it and then the BS pump rumor came and it turned. I'm sure females will much more likely be less greedy and take 50-100% sooner than men.
