(Edit: see P.S.) wash68...my take on ETS accessibility on Dell's website:

I believe early adopters of ETS-enabled trusted computing networks are established Dell customers, enterprise and government. These accounts are handled by Dell sales reps. We know Wave has held orientation sessions for thousands of Dell reps. These enterprise account sales reps are always in time with their customers' upgrade cycles. My point is, for established Dell enterprise and government customers, website browsing, making their decisions based on what they see for product offerings on the website, is less relevant than being sold directly by their dedicated Dell account sales rep. That is why it's critical for Dell sales reps to know what trusted computing is and to suggest it to their established accounts as a cost effective, easy way to security harden their networks.

I too would like to see easy access to Wave's products on all Dell TPM PC order pages, as well as Wave products linked on all Dell TPM reference/explanation pages. I think that is coming. One issue for Wave is that Dell is a huge company with a separate management infrastructure for each vertical...ie. small business, healthcare etc...so it's not automatic that all managers will list TPMs (and Wave products) the same in each of their sections.

To summarize, more important than ideal accessibility to Wave products on Dell website at this early point, is that Wave continue to work with Dell enterprise and government sales reps directly, as the Dell reps find interest among their many accounts to implement Wave-enabled TPM platforms. For example a key component for any Dell enterprise customer in implementing a TPM-enabled network is to buy Wave's KTM server services. KTM server is even not shown as a Wave product on Dell's site yet. It's something that needs to be marketed directly to established Dell enterprise and government customers, off the website...at this initial phase.

P.S.

As Dell TPMs become more mainstream, as they penetrate smaller enterprises and approach the consumer market, I expect to see Dell bundle more ETS than what STM currently bundles. Wave will receive bundling revenue directly from Dell, and the whole TPM orientation/utilization process will become more transparent for the smaller user. Larger users like larger enterprise and government users have IT administrators, so for them transparency is not the issue it would be for you and I.
