Actually amature, it would make more sense to R/S before a RM to the corporate aspect of things. It makes it more attractive to the company who is wanting to merge into the shell. The less shares that shareholders own, the less they can dump into the market after the company merges. Hope this helps with your understanding of the fundamentals.
