gabeh, what are you talking about? If companies like Huawei are out, whether they talk to DR about the process or not has nothing to do with how much IDCC will get bought out for. Work on your comprehensive skills or go back to trading penny stocks.

The point I made was if companies like Huawei are out, and they are foreign, they might not have a problem leaking info to sources. If this is the case, maybe IDCC never exactly told companies like Huawei and HTC that they were out, maybe they just said "we'll keep you updated on the process and our decision."

I think Google is in the bidding room and even though they probably know that they will lose to Apple, they certainly don't want Apple to get IDCC for cheap: Google is not exactly happy about paying $12.5 billion for Motorola and losing to Nortel, so if they lose again, they at least want the winner to pay up...
