You're right, anybody can ask, doesn't mean they will tell you especially when the transfer agent is restricted from releasing the O/S by the company. Below is a cut and paste of another poster that said he did call the transfer agent.

the number of shares issued and oustanding? The transfer agent refuses. He stated that MILV has restricted him from saying and that the SEC does not require him. The Sept/Oct proforma financia;s show over 1 billion shares are out. Has this number increased during the excessive promotion and if so by how much. The mouthpiece had something to say almost everyday...why not share some facts.
