According to Congress! Pizza is now a vegetable!

I'm not joking either!

In today’s, ”Things that make the U.S. look fatter and dumber.” category, the vegetables in Congress have a new friend amongst themselves….. pizza. No today is not April 1st. I can assure you.

“Senorita, have you gone crazy?” What are you talking about?”

Well my darlings, apparently the frozen food, salt, and Papa John’s (Nasdaq: PZZA) lobbysists complained enough to get a spending bill passed which basically says that the 2 tablepoons of tomato paste on a slice of pizza is close enough.

Come on congress I know a slice of pizza is shaped like the food “triangle” but isn’t this taking things a bit too far?
