IDoCare, If you are set up and have an account online with Fidelity.com you can click and follow the links to margin and options. It is a simple online form if you only want to buy calls... takes about 2 days for approval. They don't notify you... you have to check back on the site to see when your account is approved to buy options. Not a big deal. Of course you would probably have to have the cash in the account, especially if it is an ira. If you are buying on credit or margin I imagine there is alot more to it.
