1BG, That's gotta be The Rant of the Week!

A few months ago, I had a hard disk crash... Hardware failure.
Long story short, after recovering to a new hard disk, I made a fatal mistake.
After removing some programs, I did a 98SE Critical Update before making a disk image.
After that, my C: would (software) crash an average of once a week! The easiest way to recover was to bring back an image, but alas, that image was made after the update.
I ended up doing a fresh install with an image made after every step. When almost done, I was tempted to do a Critical Update. As soon as I did, I saw something that did not please me, so I reverted to the previous image. I'm now running 98SE with NO updates... No major crashes yet.
