I believe Gucci is saying that if we grow next year from this year's 36MM to 50MM next year, that is about 45% growth year over year. Pretty good growth, but hardly the growth needed to get the stock to $10, $12, etc. A 50% appreciation in stock price from $2.50 puts us at $3.75 in 12 months, hardly the whopper I am hoping for.
The really big unknown is the adoption of TPMs, turning on some fraction of the already deployed devices. This should happen first with some government action, either UK, USA, or other. There is no way SKS can predict this timing. He can read the tea leaves, inform decision makers, and even provide important language into RFPs, but he cannot know for sure when or if this will happen.
So, if no companies or governments turn on TPMs in a big way, then 45-50MM seems like it extrapolates pretty well from today, in a linear, safe fashion.
