Just for further clarification, today's meeting was called by an "emergency motion for status conference". The "emergency" is nothing to be alarmed about. It is simply a qualification to request an off-calendar event, and will most-likely be conducted with most interested parties on the phone. As I understand it, the meeting was called by one of the creditor parties (UnSec's, I believe), and is probably in regards to the final disposition of the APA (and cutting the settlement checks).

As to comments on the timing of the BOD vote, let me remind everyone that the vote was conducted as swiftly as possible (postal issues not-withstanding), and and was acted upon as quickly as the majority position was established. This proved to be highly fortuitous, as we were at the very brink of an entirely different outcome. I suspect none of us would even be discussing this, had it not happened when it did.

As an early member of the Steering Committee, I can state that there was an original plan moving forward, but as things have transpired, I can only surmise that things changed mid-course, and the ESHC adapted accordingly. Such is trench war-fare.

Bear in mind that any other group of S/H's would have been a distant memory by now, yet we persevere. What awaits us for the future is far from certain, but we're still "in the game" (and we're far from worthless)...
