Lets do some fact checking here:

"in the can" means that they are done filming, which IS TRUEwith White Space, they are in post production.

The 60-80MM was in post production value NOT an estimate on revenues the company would make on the film.

Also Equity partner means that they have ownership in the project which they are investing in, and the potential profits NOT that they take an equity position in the company.
