While many individual investors are really not having any fun in this market, AIM users seem to be doing okay. While not as easy to make $$$ as other times in the market, we do have our purchasing, sales and inventory management systems in place to take advantage of the seemingly range bound markets.

I think AIM's better at taming this sort of market than attempting to keep up with a raging bull market. While some of the volatility seems unpleasant, AIM is a wonderful Signal/Noise filter. Yesterday's unsettled moves weren't enough to even get near AIM's next buy points in my accounts. Prices had risen to or above their 26 week moving averages near the end of October, so that means the discount needed to start buying again hasn't been achieved yet.

During such times the value of dividends also starts to reveal itself. In a year where trading profits might be thin, total return will be enhanced by dividends.

Best regards, Tom
