I know what you are saying and 100% agree but you are talking like an engineer/scientist when you say under 100% efficiency and they are talking like marketing people when they come up with these figures. The way they calculate them is "different" and it is why many existing units claim 99% efficiency. Even while obeying all the laws of physics the unit can still save money overall at the end of it's lifetime, in all sorts of ways.
