I think we should allow IDCC to speak before we take any poles. I could not find any news from Nok today regarding the final award. The posture taken by the Finns can make a difference. Despite our recent punch, Nok still remains a cold hearted royalty hater unless they are on the receiving end. I am banking on IDCC being ready tomorrow and I hope they are rehearsing answers to anticipated questions today. There will be plenty more July 4ths for RF and WM and the CC is a golden opportunity to impress the street into affording higher multiples going forward. It may be that they can positively state that a few new licenses can now be finalized because of the ruling by the Tribunal.

Matters I would like to know:

1. Was the decision by the Tribunal a 3-0 or 2-1 vote? If 2-1, did the arbiter write a dissenting opinion?

2. Did the Tribunal set any specific compliance dates for the reporting and paying of royalties owed in period one and the reporting, estimating and paying of royalties expected to be owed in period two?

3. Based on the decision of the Nok Tribunal, can a reasonable estimate be made regarding the Samsung additional royalty obligations? If Nok appeals the final award, does IDCC expect a further delay in the evidentiary hearing for Samsung?

4. If the Tribunal has set dates certain by which Nok must perform concerning the subject matter in #2 above, do these dates also apply to Samsung since they selected the Nok license terms under their MFL option?

I believe that WM should be ready to answer some pointed questions regarding Matushita tomorrow. This involves 3g and there is some concern that I have experienced in conversations with people in the investment community who deal in the sector. I know we all hope it is a simple fix. I believe it is the only infringement license on the IDCC books and should be distinguishable from the convenience licenses.

Here is wishing IDCC the best tomorrow and may this CC be the best in the history of the company.
