Update from Smith Barney...

My broker just called to say that she just received a report saying the news will be released after hours (though, she told me to take it with a grain of salt since she received a report this morning that said it would be released at 10:00am).

For what its worth, she stated that sometimes a company will withhold releasing news until after hours to prevent a panic sell if its very bad news, and that it is particularly true before a weekend (to give people time to absord the news and not panic). She made clear that past history does not definitively mean anything in this case, but it was something to be aware of. That said, it is concerning to me, as if it was good news, I can't envision why it hasn't been released. But, this is all tea leaves at this point.
