Yes, there are definitely some big investors out there looking to revitalize local economies. Some are more high profile than others, such as this NH paper mill for example. Other large investors prefer to keep a low profile and try to help.

Fortunately for this New Hampshire paper mill, the company took action on her offer.

Is there enough going on at MOPN/Groveton for her to be interested?

Hard to say.
