I have two contacts to report about.
1. Went to my doctor and as was checking in I had to fill out new medical history sheets. I inquired if the new computer system was installed. The receptionist said it was. In the exam room was a new Dell tower case computer, didn't get the model#,sitting on the counter.
When the Doc came in, I asked if the computer had a TPM and he replied that it did. He said the carts for the computers did not arrive and that was why it was on the counter. I asked him about Wave software and he said that Wave was in it, but he did not know all the details. Said we now have an IT dept. He wrote WAVX on the back of my chart and said he would be checking on it.
2. At a technical conference I was talking to a BASF plant engineer and I asked if they had gotten their new Dell laptops. He said they did and were active, but he didn't know too many details about the security software on them other than it was Wave's. I gave him a 2 minute explanation of what he had.
So Wave is delivering product. Within 2 weeks we will know Q3 results. I don't worry about the BEWML. Any little snag can slow down that contract. I am trying to find out if any additional oil companies are refreshing computers and what they contain. For security reasons, we may not have a PR on any of them.
Just my observations and thoughts.
