Kid...that's exactly what I'm saying. Every kitchen has a non-FDA approved microwave oven that cooks our food. The Xray machine has been around longer than the FDA and it's safety was in control of the manufacturers, the legal system, professional standards, and the FREE market. If something is unsafe it will not reach the market. The onus should be on the FDA to prove that a product is UNSAFE, then let the public and private industry, including the medical community of doctors who are long-waiting for new solutions, to decide on it's success or failure...not some bunch of over worked bureaucrats thinking they are protecting us from the evil capitalists. The FDA has become a huge marketing tool for their own services...booklets, tapes, seminars. I know because I average 5-10 emails per day since I signed up on their info distribution list so I might get a jump on any release re: BIEL. I am being spammed by multiple FDA groups all selling something. I can see why BIEL has problems. It's called "FOOD AND DRUG" not "Bandaids and Crutches".
