regarding possible settlement...many here have thought that a settlement would not happen until they hit the courthouse steps. I understand that those were just opinions based on the experience of several attornies I never ASSUMED it would happen that way with IDCC. I keep telling myself that anything can still happen between now and May in regards to a settlement. I would think that it would be possible that Judge Lynn thought they were very close to a settlement that she would give them a little more time to work it out. It just seems if they were THAT close they wouldn't need 3 months to work out those final details. I would think that if she just gave them an extra 30 days it may be enough to get them moving.
