IRISH... with only 9 grand in my account (from a 5 grand startup) they have me flagged with a daytrading restriction of 4 daytrades in any 5 rolling day period. I've been very careful not to exceed that since the first time they flagged me "and shut me down then", but I sold a stock in my portfolio and bought it back the same day. I don't think that should have counted against me, but they shut me down again to sales only, no new positions. As a result, I missed GZFX & IWWDE, both of which I was watching. It's total BS and cost me a couple thousand profit I should have had. After a half dozen emails/phone calls they're telling me the restriction can't be removed a second time. I'm just looking for other options, since they won't allow me to add any new positions for 90 days.
