Now we are talking chemistry! This is by far a better discussion. Cavitation (bubbles) caused by the molecular expansion of the molecule through heat (which is created by the sonic vibration of the molecules bouncing against one another) aids in the weakening of the bond. Thus allowing the molecules to be more efficiently processed in the change of state from a liquid to a gas. Theoretically it could work but not as easy at it sounds. Like Pita has stated before changing the molecular structure and keeping it that way until it actually combust in the chanmber is the difficult part. The micro second it takes to change it or alter it it can easily be changed back.

You never know, maybe they figured away to stabilize it after change.

I see a possible Nobel Prize if they did!
